Nowadays, it is easy to become overwhelmed by our responsibilities and we neglect to care for ourselves. To cope with stress and maintain a healthy mental well-being, I have come up with an acronym to help you remember to prioritize your mental health - TMACK! Have you practiced TMACK today?

M - Mindfulness

A - Avoid Overthinking

C - Compassion

K - Keep Going!

T - Thankfulness

  • Start by thinking of three things you are thankful for daily, from small things like your coffee in the morning to things like a promotion!

M - Mindfulness

  • Listen to calming music and relax. Take several deep breaths and ground yourself, pay attention to your body, your thoughts and your surroundings.

A - Avoid Overthinking

  • Don’t let your thoughts run wild! Focus on the moment and what you can control.

C - Compassion

  • Don’t be too hard on yourself! Practice self-compassion and recognize your accomplishments!

K - Keep Going!

  • Keep going! Do the things that bring you joy and spend time with those you love.
